Budget safari Tanzania | Rent the Suzuki Escudo

Looking for a reliable and affordable 4x4 for your journey through Tanzania? The Suzuki Escudo is a solid choice if you want to keep things simple and within budget.

This compact 4x4 is sporty, robust, easy to handle and economical to run. It drives comfortably on long stretches and feels at home on rougher tracks, too. The automatic gearbox makes driving relaxed, while the manual switch to four-wheel drive gives you extra grip when you need it. Fuel consumption is low compared to a Land Cruiser, averaging around 10–13 km per litre. That means fewer fuel stops and more freedom on the road.

It’s good to know that the Escudo is not suitable for travel to the Serengeti or Lake Natron. These areas require a heavier-duty vehicle. You’ll find an overview of restricted areas on our website to help you plan your route.

Curious about the details? Take a look at the specification sheet to see exactly what to expect when renting a Suzuki Escudo from Roadtrip Africa.
